On behalf of the Management Board, Tax Studies Institute [Instytut Studiów Podatkowych] and of myself, I have the privilege of informing you that the year 2006 marks the tenth anniversary of our activity. Over the period, we have grown to become one of Poland’s major and leading consultancy, audit, educational and publishing groups. What is more, ISP is the country’s only consulting company of its size based entirely on Polish capital. On the other hand, several major companies operating in the Polish market have joined our pool of contracting parties. Our motto is to render our services professionally, reliably, skilfully and efficiently.

       As a consultancy, ISP renders tax advisory services, performs tax audits and handles tax-related disputes. As many as over 35,000 entities have used these services by far.

        Extensive teaching/educational and editing/publishing activities add up to the picture. A dozen-or-so thousand participants attend our training and conference sessions every year. More than 150,000 of audience members have visited us to date. Our publishing house boasts a record of over 180 book-format releases. Our staff act as experts and analysts to the Sejm and Senate [i.e. the Lower and Upper House of the Parliament, respectively] of the Republic of Poland, courts of law, Public Prosecutor’s Offices and Governmental administration authorities.

        The development of our Institute, as coupled with the need to meet the marketplace challenges, have resulted in establishment of three off-Warsaw ISP branches – in Poznań, Cracow [Kraków] and Katowice. In 2001, the ISP Group was formed by a total of five entities specialising in broadly delineated areas of law, finance and taxes, including: ISP, ISP–Audyt, The Law Office [Kancelaria Prawna], ISP of Małopolska, and, Univers Konsulting-Edukacja Jacyno i Modzelewski. I should like to thank all our Contracting Parties to whom we have been rendering our services throughout the past decade, for their co-operation and trust they have put in us. I should also like to assure you all that our Institute is ready to serve you with its consulting and educational assistance with regards to any existing tax-related matters and issues.
